AERIAL PEST CONTROL
Fleet Helicopters has full Civil Aviation Safety Authority approval to undertake aerial shooting operations.
All Fleet Helicopter pilots are FAAST approved (Feral Aerial Animal Shooting Team) and all have extensive low-level experience.
Fleet Helicopters’ turbine helicopter fleet is equipped with full colour GPS mapping capabilities for accurate coordination of shooting areas and recording of shoot details.
Fleet prides itself on the ability to conduct safe, efficient and humane feral animal shooting operations.
Fleet Helicopters were the first aviation company in New South Wales to use Transect navigation systems on a GPS moving map for baiting operations, enabling us to achieve 97.7% of baits within 500m of the planned line, compared with 58% accuracy from our nearest competitor.
Accurate bait mapping can be supplied on job completion detailing the flight path and bait locations for landholder and departmental records.
The fully CASA certified bait container is capable of holding 200kg bait per load and we can provide experienced navigators and AQF3 qualified bait droppers.
